Russia's position on Iran is a tactics, but not a strategy. It is considered by Moscow as a means of rapprochement with the West, the head of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament Hossein Ebrahimi said, MEHR news agency reported.
He added that Russia is moving in the direction where it can get the most benefit for itself.
According to ITAR-TASS, at a press-conference after the talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel June 5 Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that the agreement on the possible imposing of sanctions against Iran has been achieved.
