The trial will be held over Faiza Rafsanjani, the daughter of ex-Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, at the Tehran Revolutionary Court No 15 on Aug. 14, Iranian news agency FARS reported.
In April, Attorney General and official representative of the Iranian judicial system Gholam Hossein Mohsen-Ejei said that Tehran prosecutor's office filed a new criminal case against Faiza.
In an interview with the foreign websites, Faiza used such expressions, that she must answer for them before the court, he said. "I personally read her interview," he said. "I asked Tehran's prosecutor about the actions taken due to this issue. He said that the criminal case has been filed and this issue is under consideration".
Faiza is the daughter of the chairman of the Iranian Advisory Council, ex-President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. A few days ago one of the foreign websites posted an interview on behalf of Faiza. She used abusive language against the current Iranian officials.
Besides the criminal case, which was previously filed against Faiza, a new criminal case was filed, he said.
The daughter of Rafsanjani, Faiza Hashemi and his son Mehdi Hashemi have repeatedly been accused on causing disorder in the country.
