259 people have drowned in Iran during last three months, ILNA news agency reported referig to the statistics of Iran's Medical Council.
According to the report the most drowning incidents recorded in Khuzestan, Gilan and Mazandaran provinces.
During last month (Jun 22- July 22) some 43 people have drowned in the Caspian Sea, which indicates 2-fold of increase compared to the same period last year, the report said.
According to the reports, about 1075 people have drowned in Iran during last solar year (ended on March 21).
