The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran announced the grant of free land for low-income citizens, Trend reports citing ILNA.
Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi, accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Zahedan Province and the General Director of Roads and Urban Development of the province, visited the suburbs of Zahedan.
Ghasemi went on to say that the ministry will increase housing construction, help meet the needs of low-income groups and reduce prices.
"According to the plan, the provision of free land for the construction of housing will be operational after determining the necessary mechanisms for the eligible class,” he said.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development also made important decisions during the visit regarding the improvement of the housing status in the Sistan and Baluchestan provinces.
Ghasemi also emphasized the construction of residential units in various parts of Sistan and the Baluchestan provinces.
