More than 551,000 metric tons of products, worth 6800 billion rials (about $206 million) were transacted at Iran's Mercantile Exchange during the week ended on August 6.
Kinds of polymer products to the volume of 35,779 metric tons were sold on the mercantile exchange, Iran's Shana news agency reported on August 9.
Moreover, 240,805 metric tons of oil and petrochemical products, worth 3398 billion rials (about $102 million) were transacted.
Also, 131,373 metric tons of bitumen, 14,783 metric tons of chemicals, and 1010 metric tons of sulfur were sold.
Over 2.9 million metric tons of oil and petrochemical products were transacted at Iran's Mercantile Exchange in the first three months of the current Iranian fiscal year, which began on March 21.
