Turkish company to build water treatment plant in Iran

A Turkish company is expected to construct a wastewater treatment plant in western Tehran, Iran’s capital.

Asghar Riazati, head of Tehran Wastewater Company, has said Iran signed a contract with Turkish company Kuzu Toplu for construction of the wastewater treatment plant with annual capacity of 190 million cubic meters, Fars news agency reported Oct. 4.

The contract was signed after an international tender, he added.

The construction of the wastewater treatment plant is projected to be completed within 54 months costing 124.9 million euros.
