Iran, France reach multimillion euro finance agreement

Iran has managed to secure 25 million euros agreement on the refinance credit line with France, aimed at importing raw materials from the Europe, an official with Export Development Bank of Iran said.

Darioush Yousefi has said that, the agreement will be implemented through Export Development Bank of Iran, IRNA news agency reported.

According to the official loans will be settled under the four percent interest rate.

He further urged the clients to use the finance for importing staple products including medicines.

Following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA aka nuclear deal) Iran has made great efforts to expand its banking ties with the world. Nevertheless, Iranian officials accuse US of failing to meet their commitments under the deal and creating difficulties for Iran to establish banking ties with the leading European banks.
