Iran issues licenses for projects worth over $23B

During the four months (March 21-July 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), investments worth 970.2 trillion rials (about $23.1 billion) were envisaged in Iran’s industrial sector, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

The value of investments increased by 26.3 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the report.

It is also expected that over 20,000 people will be employed as part of the projects that received licenses in the industrial sector during the reporting period. This is a 31.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
