By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:
Iran’s exports to neighboring countries will double, said Hamid Zadboum, head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He said that exports are expected to increase over the next two years.
He added that exporting products to neighboring countries is a priority for Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization.
“To this end, export incentives are provided to companies that export products to the neighboring countries,” he said.
Speaking about the export of low-quality products from Iran, the head of the organization noted that the export of these products has a negative impact both on the exports and Iranian revenues. One of the ways to prevent the export of low-quality goods is manufacturing branded high-quality products and Iranian companies should take steps in this regard, he added.
From March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019, Iran exported products worth $24 billion to 15 neighboring countries.
