TEHRAN, Iran, April 2. Iran is working to revive 17 mines in Hormozgan Province, backed by an investment of about 175 billion rials (some $4 million), said the head of Hormozgan Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Khalil Ghasemi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"When the mines resume work, some 211 new jobs will become available in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022)," he said.
Hormozgan Province has issued investment permits for 678 projects valued at 17.1 trillion rials (about $4 billion) that created 10,380 jobs, indicating a 22-percent rise in investment and 19 percent employment growth compared to 2020.
