Iran's Guardian Council has approved the bill called "Iranian government's reciprocal and proportional action in implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)", ISNA quoted Nejatollah Ebrahimian, the council's spokesman, as saying Oct. 15.

The bill was earlier ratified by the country's parliament.

Ebrahimian said the bill was approved on the basis of positive feedback from all the council members. The said bill was ratified by Iran's parliament on Oct. 13.

The bill received 161 MPs' votes in its favor, while 59 voted against it and 13 more MPs abstained from voting.

The bill will allow the government to take some measures in line with the constitution and the country's red lines regarding the JCPOA.

All the laws adopted by Iran's parliament should be first approved by the Guardian Council before their implementation.
