Turkish authorities forced Armenian passenger aircraft to land at the airport in Erzurum city in the east of the country on Monday, Turkish Sabah newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, security check is underway in cargo section of the aircraft.
As NTV TV channel reported, the aircraft was bound to Syrian city of Aleppo.
According to Turkish Foreign Ministry, the aircraft was forced to land due to security check.
