The Bureau of the Georgian Parliament has approved the establishment of a new faction. Six independent deputies have registered as a parliamentary group.

The Bureau of the Georgian Parliament has approved the establishment of a new faction. Six independent deputies have registered as a parliamentary group.

The proposal on creation of the new faction "Non-Party, Independent Majoritarians," was submitted to the office on Monday by Chairman Gogi Liparteliani.

Liparteliani, Goderdzi Bukia, Henzel Mkoyan, Kakha Okriashvili and Sergo Habuliani, who are National Movement representatives winning in the five-majority districts, have refused to join the minority. Later, Giorgi Gozalishvili, a majoritarian from Lagodekhi, joined the ranks.
