Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili during his visit to the United States on May 2 met with the author of the so-called 'Magnitsky list', U.S. Senator Benjamin Cardin, the Georgian Presidential administration said on Thursday.
According to the report, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of Georgia's international security and its aspiration to integrate into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
Saakashvili and Cardin also discussed the on-going processes in Georgia and the changes that concern the democratisation of the judicial system in the country.
