Five people died Thursday in Egypt when a ferry capsized on the Nile River, according to security authorities, dpa reported.
Four bodies had been recovered from the river by late Thursday, and a search was ongoing for the body of a fifth victim, a passenger. Four people were injured in the accident.
Police did not immediately know the cause of the mishap, which occurred off a southern suburb of Cairo.
