Yemeni officials said on Monday Yemeni warplanes' attack on suspected strongholds of militants in the south of the country killed 30 people with at least five civilian, Al Jazeera reported.
The Army has started campaign in the south of the country against the militants, who have committed disorders for some months in the country.
The U.S and Saudi Arabia scares that these disorders in Yemen to give Al Qaeda an opportunity to make attacks on Arabian Peninsula and outside it.
"The targets of air strikes were buildings where the suspected militants were hiding," an army official said.
Meanwhile, a security official announced about death of at least ten Al Qaeda insurgents during the night attacks.
