(dpa) - Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern and his British counterpart Gordon Brown are to meet Saturday in London, according to a statement from Ahern's office in Dublin.
"Two key issues will be the devolution of policing and justice powers to the democratic institutions in Northern Ireland and helping the development of the Northern economy," the statement said.
The two premiers were also expected to attend a ceremony together to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster when eight players for the Manchester United soccer team were killed with 15 others in a plane crash in Germany.
The meeting is the third such since Brown became prime minister in June.
It comes ahead of a meeting of ministers from Northern and Southern Ireland in the border town of Dundalk on Thursday and the British-Irish Council in Dublin on February 14.
