( dpa ) - Four Chinese tourists died in a head-on crash between their station wagon and a four-wheel-drive vehicle near Clevedon, 40 kilometres south of Auckland, on Friday, police said.
Another passenger in the station wagon was seriously injured and three people in the other vehicle were also taken to hospital, Radio New Zealand reported.
It quoted police as saying the tourists' car apparently went out of control and collided with the vehicle travelling in the opposite direction on a country road.
