Five persons were killed and six others injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast in northwest Pakistan on Wednesday, local TV channel reported.
According to police sources, the bomb was planted in a car parked in district court in the town of Dera Ismail Khan in North West Frontier Province (NWFP). Five people were killed and four others injured, and several vehicles also damaged in the blast, the private TV channel Dawn News reported.
The bodies and injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital. Police have cordoned off the area and started investigations, reported Xinhua.
