Spanish Ministry of Health figures show the number of people infected by the A/H1N1 virus have declined in the past seven days, Xinhua reported.
The Ministry estimated that the infection rate currently stands at 51.75 cases per 100,000 of the population with 23,125 new cases.
The previous week saw an infection rate of 53.61 cases per 100,000.
Meanwhile, although 25 people have died from the virus, the mortality level is low, with a rate of 0.18 per 1,000 cases, which is lower than the level for a normal flu virus.
The country is now waiting to see if the start of the new academic year next week will see infection levels rise.
