Taliban militants claimed responsibility for the killing of two foreign advisers inside Afghanistan's Interior Ministry on Saturday, DPA reported.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid in a statement said that one of their suicide bombers, Abdul Rahman, killed "four senior US advisers" and was "retaliation against the burning of Koran by the invading Americans in Bagram military base."
Afghan and NATO officials did not confirm or reject the Taliban's claim.
