Ukraine and Russia signed three-year Protocol on supply of cold rolled metal from Ukraine to Russia

( ForUm ) - During a session of the Economic Cooperation Committee of the Intergovernmental Yushchenko-Putin Commission the Protocol on supplies of cold rolled metal from Ukraine to Russia was signed in Moscow on Friday, Economy Minister Anatoliy Kinakh told journalists. "The agreement has been signed for three years and provides for canceling anti-dumping measures," the Minister said.

According to Kinakh, the Protocol will be effective since July 1, 2007 and envisages the supply of 200,000 tons of cold rolled metal during the first year (July 2007 - July 2008), 205,000 tons during the second year and 210,000 tons during the third year.

According to Kinakh, the protocol will allow Ukrainian producers, in particular the Mariupol Ilyich Metallurgical Mill and ZaporizhStal, to enter the Russian market, Cabinet's press office informs.
