Turkey’s law enforcement agencies are carrying out operations to reveal the supporters of Fethullah Gulen movement in Petkim petrochemical complex, Hurriyet newspaper reported Sept.20.
Reportedly, the operations against the supporters of the movement of Gulen, who is accused of being involved in the military coup attempt in Turkey, started at 09:00 (UTC/GMT + 3 hours), Sept.20 and are currently going on.
Former general manager of Turkey’s Petkim petrochemical complex, Sadettin Korkut was arrested Aug.16. Korkut was detained July 28 within the fight against the movement of Gulen.
Apart from Korkut, Petkim’s 13 employees, who were earlier detained, have also been arrested.
Former director of SOCAR Turkey Energy’s Human Resources Department Ilgar Mehmetoglu is also among those arrested.
