Gunmen attempted to attack Israel’s embassy in Ankara, Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported Sept. 21.
The two gunmen tried to break into the embassy’s building. Police neutralized one of them in the ensuing shootout.
Police cordoned off the embassy’s building and the diplomatic mission’s employees were evacuated.
A bomb squad is now examining a bag of one of the attackers.
