Foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's (SCO) member states have signed a number of documents following the SCO Foreign Ministers Council meeting in Tashkent, reports Trend correspondent.
The foreign ministers of six SCO member states signed the documents on India's and Pakistan's accession to the organization.
The SCO foreign ministers also adopted the documents "On the draft agenda of the meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO member-states", "On the Tashkent Declaration of the SCO 15th Anniversary," "Draft Action Plan for 2016-2020 for implementation of the SCO development strategies up to 2025", "On the procedure of the Republic of India's admission to the SCO", and "On the procedure of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan's admission to the SCO".
The SCO members are China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, Iran, Mongolia and Belarus are the SCO observer-countries, while Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Armenia, Cambodia and Nepal are dialogue partners.
A meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO member-states will be held in Tashkent June 23-24.
