Kazakh KazTransOil decreased consolidated net profit

Kazakh group of companies KazTransOil decreased consolidated net profit by 25.6 percent in the first nine months of 2014 compared to the same period of 2013, the company reported on Nov. 17.

The net profit of the group of companies hit 37.271 billion tenge (180.87 tenge = $1) in this period.

Meanwhile net profit separately for KazTransOil in January- September increased by 21 percent to 50.104 billion tenge.

Consolidated revenues amounted to 146.714 billion tenge (3.7 percent increase) in the reporting period. The revenue separately for KazTransOil amounted to 132.546 billion tenge (5.3 percent increase) in this period.

The consolidated volume of oil and oil products transported through the main pipelines of KazTransOil fell by 7 percent in the first nine month of 2014 to 46.032 million metric tons.
The consolidated cargo turnover decreased by 3 percent to 33.081 billion ton - kilometers in this period.

KazTransOil is the Kazakh national operator of the main oil pipeline. It is the largest oil transportation company of Kazakhstan, which owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with total length of 5,000 kilometers and water pipelines with total length exceeding 2,000 kilometers.
