Twelve people were killed in an explosion at Cilvegozu checkpoint on the Turkish-Syrian border in the province of Hatay, CNN Turk TV channel reported on Monday.
It was reported that 28 people were injured as a result of explosion. Some injured are in critical condition. The explosion occurred in a car with Syrian registration plate.
Three of those killed are Turks, nine are Syrians.
