Weapons and ammunition were detected in a car heading from Russia to Azerbaijan, according to the State Customs Committee's statement released on Tuesday.
The Ford Tranzit car driven by Gulagha Jafarov from the Russian Federation was inspected in the area of customs control at the Samur post of the Khachmaz Customs Administration.
The inspection resulted in detecting one hundred of 250-gram packages of Sokol powder and 16 packages of unused empty shell casings of 12/70 caliber and 25 pieces each of 16/70 caliber, 150 pieces of 16 caliber empty used shells, 30 empty used shells of 12 caliber, one box of percussion caps, one İJ-18 shotgun, a lighter, two kilograms of rifle shots and 50 5.6 mm caliber bullets.
