In the second semester of 2010, about 19 civil servants have been trained on foreign policy program of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), a source at the Academy told Trend on Wednesday.
The foreign policy program serves not only to improve knowledge of civil servants, but also organizing cooperation between them, deputy foreign minister, ADA President Hafiz Pashayev said in his speech at the event on completion of trainings.
Then, Pashayev presented certificates and symbolic prizes to the training participants.
The program covered the areas of political and economic trends, public diplomacy, improvement of leadership and communication skills. The participants included representatives of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, Central Bank, Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Economic Development Ministry, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Azerbaijan State Television and the Global Fund.
