Tajikistan and Saudi fund for development signed a credit agreement on the project of building and equipping of secondary schools, Avesta.Tj reported on Thursday.

According to Tajikistan Finance Ministry, the aim of the project is to build, reconstruct, equip the buildings of secondary schools in several regions of Tajikistan.

The project allows to provide schoolchildren with new seats and creates conditions for opening of new jobs.

The total cost of the project is $25 million including the fund's debt in the amount of $24.2 million and the contribution of Tajikistan government worth $750,000.

The implementation of the project starts in August, 2013 and lasts for 5 years.
