Malaysian embassy will be opened in Ashgabat in the near future, a joint communiqué signed within the Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov's visit to Malaysia said.
The document states that the Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Sri Haji Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak announced about opening of the embassy with residence in Ashgabat and expressed hope that Turkmenistan will open its embassy in the country's capital Kuala Lumpur.
Berdimuhammadov welcomed Malaysia's intention and said that Turkmenistan will comprehensively assist in opening of the embassy in Ashgabat.
Turkmen President also expressed his willingness to positively address the issue of opening the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.
