Two suspected rockets were fired at the southern Israeli Red Sea resort of Eilat overnight, police said Tuesday.
The rockets must have fallen in the desert outside the city, spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told dpa.
Police had yet to find the projectiles and resumed their search for them with daylight Tuesday, he said.
The last time Eilat came under fire was three months ago and police found two rockets in the area surrounding the city a day or two later, he said.
"Certainly there was fire in the direction of Eilat, without injuries and without damage," the police spokesman told dpa.
Residents reported two loud explosions Monday evening.
