The Georgian parliamentary speaker will wait for leaders of non-parliament opposition to negotiate on May 8, David Bakradze told journalists in response to the yesterday's statement of opposition on readiness to negotiate without preliminary conditions. Bakradze said preparation work for the negotiation has already begun.
The speaker hailed the opposition's readiness to negotiate and refuse to speak with the government in "ultimatum language".
Bakradze stated that the authorities are prepared to meet with opposition leaders and speak about any topic.
"If opposition shifts to dialogue from street demonstrations to solve all problems, we are ready to negotiate with any party without any preliminary conditions," the speaker said.
