Azerbaijan, Baku, June 4 / Trend , J.Babayeva/
Removing restrictions on public office term is the need of the society, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Public-Political Department Ali Hasanov told journalists on June 4.
The Azerbaijani parliament has recently removed restriction on ombudsman's office term for more than two terms. The country's legislative body also examines possibility of electing one citizen as prosecutor general more than twice.
"Azerbaijan is experiencing stability since 2003. When the situation stabilized in the country, we began to hold reforms in different fields. If one citizen can be engaged in a definite activity within 10 years, then why to limit it, but if there is an alternative, this issue should be examined," he said.
