The center for human rights states that family of Ajaria's head of the government took neighbor's flat off.

Presently, Levan Varshalomidze and his family live in three-storied house at Baratashvili street in Batumi, the center said. Roughly 10 families lived on the third floor of this house before Varshalomidze became chairman of the government. Café-bar and Samsung shop were situated on the first floor.

"Under pressure of Varshalomidze's family, tenants were obliged to sell their flats and move. The first floor of the house was also sold. Only Lela Abesadze resisted powerful neighbors. She was not permitted to enter her own flat. Then she was arrested. She was called mad. They tried to place her in mental hospital. Criminal case was filed against Abesadze. As a result she was obliged to re-formalize her flat on Varshalomidze Vakho Kazaazishvili," the center for human rights said.

The center said that family of Varshalomidze oppressed and persecuted Lela Abesadze. It is criminal case. The center for human rights applies to Georgia's prosecution general with request to file criminal case due to oppression of Abesadze and confiscation of her flat.
