On Sept.10, a month of safe traffic, named "Attention, children!" was launched in Azerbaijan.
A month of safe traffic, held due to the beginning of a new academic year, will run by Oct.10, the Main State Traffic Police Department of the Internal Ministry told Trend on Sept.10.
Besides preventing traffic accidents with children and teenagers, a safe month aims to draw attention to this problem, to strengthen discipline among drivers, to intensify prophylactic measures and to inculcate in children skills of safe behavior on the roads.
Leadership of the interior ministry calls all drivers to observe all traffic rules, by demonstrating a good example for children and young people in this sphere during a month.
