Ivane Noniashvili will be appointed Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili introduced his candidate for the position to the Georgian parliament today.
After his candidature is approved in parliament, Noniashvili will replace current ambassador Nikoloz Natbiladze. Natbiladze has been already been appointed Georgian ambassador to Spain.
Noniashvili has headed the Press Service since 2006. He speaks Russian, English and Turkish. He has the civil rank of an adviser.
