The opposition is left without an electorate, former functionary of the Azerbaijani Musavat party said.
"Consolidation and processes of political integration have always been factors promoting positive trends in society. But such initiatives will never be brought to the end due to the fact that there is a little number of leaders who can manage these processes or because of their absence." former deputy chief of Musavat, political scientist Gabil Huseynli told Trend on Tuesday.
People faced with serious disagreements, despite the fact that they impose high expectations on the integration, in the result of which the opposition was left without an electorate.
"The opposition has tried to give some hope to the society, but wasn't able to complete this process because of the clash of political ambition, because of an inability to compromise and lost its authority in society as a result," Huseynli said.
Huseynli said, he can not imagine the union of opposition.
"All parties want others to consolidate around it, they believe that they had chosen the most correct political line and only their policy will lead to victory. This uncompromising position does not allow to consolidate," Huseynli said
