People whose hearts beat in unison, in whose veins Turkic blood flows, if necessary, will act as a single fist, Turkey's Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Idris Naim Sahin said at a rally dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide in Istanbul on Sunday.
"At the right moment Turkic people will go together to battle for justice," the Minister said.
He said Azerbaijan and Turkey are embodiment of the principle of "two states - one nation," and there is no such an example anywhere in the world.
"For centuries, the Turks have lived with their heads held high, they stood up against their oppressors, and have always been close to the weak and hapless, innocent people. And the joy of the Azerbaijani people is our joy, their sorrow is our sorrow. 20 years ago bloodsuckers and traitors killed 613 innocent civilians of Khojaly. Their blood will not remain unavenged. And the perpetrators of this crime will answer for everything," Mr Sahin said.
The appearance of the Interior Minister and his speech were met with applause, the special correspondents of Trend reported from Istanbul.
