Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Science Foundation intends to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan.
ECOSF President Prof. Dr. Manzoor H. Soomro paid a courtesy call on the Azerbaijan Ambassador Dashgin Shikarov, as a part of his endeavours to move forward for achieving the goals / targets of the newly established specialized agency of ECO to benefit people of the region.
Dr. Soomro briefed the Ambassador about ongoing activities of ECOSF and invited the Ambassador to extend his country's cooperation to implement the future plan / activities of the foundation.
The Ambassador took keen interest in ECOSF future plans, its aims and goals and assured the ECOSF President, of his country's full support to make this specialized agency of ECO as a vibrant organization.
Shikarov appreciated the special interest of Dr. Soomro to promote scientific cooperation among the regional organization's member countries for socio-economic well-being of their people as well as the entire humanity.
ECOSF President stressed the need for exploring the possibilities of scientific collaboration among member countries of the ECO's specialized agency. Dr. Soomro said exchange of scientific experiences among ECOSF member countries could be the first step to move ahead in this regard.
