The trilateral meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran in Tehran, first of all, means stability in the region, and secondly, the beginning of a new stage of economic cooperation, Azerbaijani MP Aydin Huseynov told Trend.
Huseynov noted that after the first trilateral meeting, the three countries’ trade turnover has increased significantly.
“After the economic agreements signed following the recent meeting, the trade turnover and, in general, economic ties will expand even more. The economic significance of the trilateral format is much higher,” added the MP.
Presidents of Russia and Iran also attach great importance to this cooperation, he said.
