The United States underlines their readiness for expansion of cooperation in the sphere of defense and security. The US Department of State stated it during the bilateral political-military talks with the participation of a US delegation headed by John Hillen, US Deputy Secretary of State on military-political issues.
A delegation headed by Araz Azimov, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, represented Azerbaijan in the talks.
Hillen thanked Azerbaijan for considerable contribution in global efforts for fighting with terror. Both sides discussed a large scale of issues of security and defense and underlined their loyalty to the expansion of cooperation, RIA Novosti news agency reports
