Russian side asked for a permit to transport 400 carriages via Azerbaijani territory from Georgia. They will transport military equipment and vehicles from the military base in Georgia, the first vice transport minister of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The carriages will arrive to Azerbaijan from Beyuk-Kesik station at the Georgian Azerbaijani border will pass approximately 700km through the Azerbaijani territory towards the Russian border station Yalama, he said.
Transportation of cargo, marked as dangerous, will be carried out in accordance with transportation norms of dangerous cargoes in the world and in CIS, and according the normative accepted in Azerbaijan.
