Annual conference of OSCE on review of problems in sphere of security to be held on June 27-28 in Vienna

The annual conference of OSCE on review of problems in the sphere of security of 2006 (EKOB-2006) will be held on June 27-28 in Vienna, Trend reports. The conference will bring together the representatives of 55 OSCE member-countries. The importance of the role of political activity and law-enforcement bodies in ensuring and supporting the stability and security will be discussed during the conference .

Besides, the conference will discuss the role of the law-enforcement bodies in fighting with the organized crime, terrorism and narcotic trafficking, as well as in the security of borders and boundary regime.

The issue of the contribution of OSCE in solution of conflicts, regulation of crisis including the measures to strengthen confidence and security and other question related to the security are also expected to be discussed.

By June 6, 2006, the participants of the conference should provide the Secretariat of OSCE with information about the composition of their delegation, and by June 20 should submit written contribution including their reaction to the support of the basic reports.
