An international conference on topic Establishment and strengthening of peace in North Caucasus was held on June 22 at the Eliza hall of Baku Entertainment Center, with the initiative of the political movement Way of Azerbaijan. The event brought together members of Azeri and Georgian parliaments, employees of Eurasian Strategic Investigations Center, party leaders and the representatives of political movement of Way of Azerbaijan.
Opening the conference, the head of the political movement Way of Azerbaijan Ilgar Gasimov spoke about the solidarity of peoples of South Caucasus in establishing peace.
The member of the Georgian parliament Koba Davitashvili stressed the importance of demonstrating solidarity of people being eager to set up peace in South Caucasus.
Other participants noted the fires committed by Armenians in the region. It was stated that Armenians try to appropriate the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia. It needs to demonstrate solidarity to prevent this.
