Ganja automobile plant stopped producing automobiles of UAZ mark. We are in a wrong way in producing low-quality automobiles in Azerbaijan, Khanlar Fatiyev, the head of the enterprise, told Trend.
The reason for plants refusing the work with UAZ is low-quality accessories, out-of-sequence delivery and incomplete integration. At the moment, there is a great number of accessories in the storehouses of the plant, which are unfit for production.
Besides, from July 1, a prohibition was applied in the territory Russia to the sale of automobiles not meeting the Euro-2 standards. Thus, Russian side will sell these automobiles abroad, and Azerbaijan is dissatisfied with this. Earlier, for the same reason, the assembly of Oka cars was stopped.
