Employees of the Apparat of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijan Parliament] will travel to the United Kingdom today. Rahim Akhoundov, the International Relationships Department Head at the Milli Majlis, informed Trend that the reason for the visit, which will conclude on 21 January, is to become familiar with the British Parliament and to exchange experiences.
Mr. Akhoundov stated that the familiarization visit is being paid by the British organization LINKS.
The Azerbaijani delegates will gain knowledge of developing bills and establishing public relations, as well as compiling shorthand reports, he added.
