The regional conference, which went on in Cologne to get familiarized with local self-government bodies of Germany completed on February 2, 2007. The event organized by the German Society of Technical Co-operation for the representatives of Azerbaijan and Georgia focused on the topics such as development of regional infrastructure, legislation in this sphere, economical and strategic policy. Azerbaijan was represented at the conference by the Deputy of the Parliament, Tahir Rzayev. The participants visited several cities of Germany, exchanged views with heads of the state and local self-government bodies.
