Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. A.Ismayilova / Namik Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, stated on 7 August that the city administration of Rustavi made decision to name one of its central streets as Sumgayit.
Rustavi is an administrative centre of the region of Kvemo-Kartli.
Recently one of the avenues of the city was named after the former Azerbaijani President, Heydar Aliyev name by the decision of the city administration of Rustavi, and his bust was erected in this avenue.
