Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend I.Alizade./ On 30 August, investigators will present a Baku court reasons for the arrest of the four people detained in the collapse of a sixteen-storey building, that had been under construction at the intersection of Nakhchivani and Mukhtarov streets of Baku, according to Aziz Seyidov, the Prosecutor of Baku City, and also head of the special investigation team.
Seyidov reported that the Yasamal District Prosecutor and the Ministry of Emergency Situations have opened a hotline to deal with people's concerns and information regarding the incident. At the same time operative headquarters is functioning at the scene of the incident. The Prosecutor said that so far five people have made appeals regarding their relatives who still lay trapped under the ruins of the collapsed building.
The death toll has already reached twelve compared to only six who survived with injuries. Mutafakkir is the company who was carrying out the construction work.
